Southern New Hampshire University offers both a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.
The Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership program at Southern New Hampshire University is designed with current and aspiring transformational leaders in mind. A significant focus of the program is engaging and leading positive change in education organizations and education systems. The cohort-based program helps develop participants as scholar-practitioners by advancing their knowledge of leadership theory and practice, organizational development, and research methodologies.

SNHU is also developing a PhD in Educational Leadership. This program, which is currently seeking approval from the State of New Hampshire, will be more squarely focused on leadership theory, research and research design, and topics of social justice. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Program
One of the original doctoral degrees at SNHU, the Ph.D. in International Business has been a highly regarded program that is offered both as a full-time program and in a low-residency program format. In this program, you can grow your expertise as you develop extensive theoretical knowledge and expand your independent thinking capabilities in this research-oriented program. You’ll participate in international business seminars complemented by methods courses that will help give you a hands-on, interactive education that goes beyond the classroom.
